“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
“O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the LORD.
Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly. And he said,
“Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you:
‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”

LUNCH WITH GOD
A little boy wanted to meet God. He packed his suitcase with two sets of his dress and some packets of Cakes and he stared his journey. He walked a long and felt tired.
So he sat in a park on the way and opened a packet to take a cake to eat. Then he noticed an old woman sitting sad with hunger nearby, so he offered her a piece of cake.
She gratefully accepted it with a wide look and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy longed to see it again. After some time he offered her another piece of cake. Again, she accepted it and smiled at him.
The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.
While it grew dark, the boy was frightened and he up got to leave but before he had gone more than a few steps, he ran back and gave her a hug and she kissed him with her prettiest smile.
When the boy opened the door, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, “What did you do today that made you look so happy?”
He replied,” I had lunch with God.”
Before, his mother could respond, he added, “You know what? She’s got the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen in my life!”
Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and asked, “Mom, what did you do today that made you so happy?
“She replied, “I ate cakes in the park with God.” Before his son responded, she added,”You know, he’s much younger than I expected.”
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile,a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
Remember, nobody knows how God will look like. People come into our lives for a reason, for a season, or for a lifetime. Accept all of them equally! AND LET THEM SEE GOD IN YOU!!!!!
**Story of Appreciation**
One young academically excellent person went to apply for a managerial position in a big company.
He passed the first interview, the director did the last interview, made the last decision.
The director discovered from the CV that the youth’s academic achievements were excellent all the way, from the secondary school until the postgraduate research,
Never had a year when he did not score.
The director asked,
“Did you obtain any scholarships in school?”
The youth answered “none”.
The director asked,
” Was it your father who paid for your school fees?”
The youth answered,
“My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.
The director asked,
” Where did your mother work?”
The youth answered,
“My mother worked as clothes cleaner.
The director requested the youth to show his hands.
The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.
The director asked,
” Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes before?”
The youth answered,
“Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books.
Furthermore, my mother can wash clothes faster than me.
The director said,
“I have a request. When you go back today, go and clean your mother’s hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.*
The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back, he happily requested his mother to let him clean her hands. His mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to the kid.
The youth cleaned his mother’s hands slowly. His tear fell as he did that. It was the first time he noticed that his mother’s hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother shivered when they were cleaned with water.
This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fee. The bruises in the mother’s hands were the price that the mother had to pay for his graduation, academic excellence and his future.
After finishing the cleaning of his mother’s hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.
That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.
Next morning, the youth went to the director’s office.
The Director noticed the tears in the youth’s eyes, asked:
” Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?”
The youth answered,
” I cleaned my mother’s hand, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes’
The Director asked,
” please tell me your feelings.”
The youth said,
I know now what is appreciation. Without my mother, there would not the successful me today.
By working together and helping my mother, only I now realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done.
I have come to appreciate the importance and value of family relationship.
The director said,
” This is what I am looking for to be my manager. I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life. You are hired.
Later on, this young person worked very hard, and received the respect of his subordinates. Every employee worked diligently and as a team. The company’s performance improved tremendously.
A child, who has been protected and habitually given whatever he wanted, would develop “entitlement mentality”and would always put himself first. He would be ignorant of his parent’s efforts.
When he starts work, he assumes that every person must listen to him, and when he becomes a manager, he would never know the sufferings of his employees and would always blame others.
For this kind of people, who may be good academically, may be successful for a while, but eventually would not feel sense of achievement.
He will grumble and be full of hatred and fight for more. If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing love or are we destroying the kid instead?*
You can let your kid live in a big house, give him a Driver & Car for going around, Eat a Good Meal, learn Piano, Watch a Big Screen TV. But when you are Cutting Grass, please let them experience it. After a Meal, let them Wash their Plates and Bowls together with their Brothers and Sisters.
Tell them to Travel in Public Bus, It is not because you do not have Money for Car or to Hire a Maid, but it is because you want to Love them in a right way.
You want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will Grow Grey, same as the Mother of that young person. The most important thing is your kid learns how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learns the ability to work with others to get things done.

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it every day. He climbed to the treetop,
ate the apples, and took a nap under the shadow. He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.
Time went by, the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day.
One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.
“Come and play with me”, the tree asked the boy.
Boy: “I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees anymore” the boy replied. “I want toys. I need money to buy them.”
Tree: “Sorry, but I do not have money, but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.”
The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.
One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned and the tree was excited.
“Come and play with me” the tree said.
“I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?”
“Sorry, but I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.” So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily.
The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.
One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted.
“Come and play with me!” the tree said.
“I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” said the man.
“Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.”
So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.
Finally, the man returned after many years.
“Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you”, the tree said.
“No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite” the man replied.
Tree : “No more trunk for you to climb on.”
“I am too old for that now” the man said.
“I really cannot give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with tears.
“I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied.
“Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest, come sit down with me and rest.” The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.
This is a story of everyone. The tree is like our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with our Mum and Dad.
When we grow up, we leave them; only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble.
No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could just to make you happy.
You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents.
We take them for granted; we don’t appreciate all they do for us, until it’s too late.
~ Moral ~
Treat your parents with loving care…. For you will know their value, when you see their empty chair…
We never know the love of our parents for us; till we have become parents.
True …we realize the many small sacrifices parents make during their day today’s life, after we become parents..

A young guy met a pretty girl at a party.
She was so outstanding, this sent many guys chasing after her, while he being average, nobody paid him attention.
At the end of the party, he finally summoned courage to invite the girl to have coffee with him. She was surprised, but out of politeness, she promised. They both sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, waiting for coffee..
She kept on thinking, “Please, let it get over soon…let me go home….” she finally said. The coffee was brought and suddenly, he asked the waiter. “Would you please get me some salt? I’d like to put it in my coffee!” Everyone at the shop stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously, “Why this unusual habit?” He took a couple of sips and replied, “When I was still a little boy, I lived near the sea, I liked playing in the sea! I can still remember the taste of the sea..
This salty coffee…every time I drink it, I always think of my childhood days, think of my hometown… Oh no! I miss my hometown so much… I miss my parents who are still out there.” While saying this, tears filled his eyes.
The pretty girl was deeply touched. A man who can tell out his homesickness, must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home. Pretty soon, she also started to speak, she spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really great date, also a beautiful beginning of their story.
This new pair continued to date. She got to discover that actually, he was a man who met all her expectations: he was tolerant, kind hearted, warm, caring. He was such a good man and had it not been for the salt in the coffee, she’d never have really known him!
The rest of the story was just like any other beautiful love story: they finally got married, and they lived a very happy married life. And sure! every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee, just the way he liked it! After 40 years of marital bliss, he died after a short illness. One day, she found a letter he had left for her: “My dearest, Please forgive me, but I lied to you.. Only once.. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous, I asked for salt instead of sugar! I was too embarrassesd to admit it, so I just went ahead. I never thought that could bring about such a frank and intimate conversation between the two of us!
Later, I tried to tell you the truth so many times but was afraid you’d think I was a liar and never again believe me … Now I’m dying, and am afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don’t like salty coffee, as a matter of fact I hate it! What a strange bad taste.. But since you made it for me with so much love, I drank it all my life!
Please forgive me, darling.. for lying to you first in that Coffee Shop and then not telling you the truth everytime you made coffee for me! I am not lying now when I say, I couldn’t have that coffee any other way! – still madly in love with you”
If anybody ask her: “How did that salted coffee taste?” “It’s sweet.” She always replied.

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: “I am blind, please help.” There were only a few coins in the hat.
A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.
Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, “Were u the one who changed my sign this morning? What did u write?”
The man said, “I only wrote the truth. I said what u said but in a different way.”
What he had written was: “Today is a beautiful day & I cannot see it.”
Do u think the first sign & the second sign were saying the same thing? Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Pencil : I’m sorry
Eraser : For what? You didn’t do me anything wrong.
Pencil :I’m sorry because you get hurt because of me.
whenever I made a mistake, you are always there to erase it, but as you make my mistakes vanish, you lose a part of yourself, you get smaller and smaller each time.
Eraser : That’s true, but I don’t really mind.
You see, I was made to do this,i was made to help you whenever you do something wrong.
Even though one day, I know I will be gone and you will replace me with a new one, I’m actually happy with my job.. So please, stop worrying.
I hate to seeing you sad .
With educated minds.
I found this conversation between the pencil and the eraser very touching.
*Parents are like the eraser, whereas their children are the pencil .
They are always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes.
Sometimes along the way…they get hurt and become smaller (older and eventually pass on)
Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse) but parents are still happy with what they do for their children and will always hate seeing their precious one’s worrying or sad .
This is for all parents
God bless my parents and me too as a future father.

THE JOURNEY IS SO SHORT!
A young lady sat in public transport: an elderly grumpy lady came and sat by her as she bumped into her with her numerous bags, the other neighbor got upset, asking the young lady why she did not protest and insist on her rights: she responded with a smile: “It is not necessary to be rude or argue over something so insignificant! “I’ll alight at the next stop, our journey together is so short, replied the young Lady “Here’s a response which deserves to be written in golden letters in our daily behaviours and everywhere: It is not necessary to argue over something so insignificant, our journey together is so short! This keeps touching my heart and sets me thinking. If everyone would realize that our passage down here has such a short duration and; to darken it with quarrels, futile arguments, unforgiveness, ungratefulness and bad attitudes would be a waste of time and energy.
-Did someone break your heart? Be calm, the journey is so short!!
-Did someone betray, bully, cheat or humiliate you? Be calm, forgive, the journey is so short!! Whatever penalty anyone serves us, let’s remember that the journey TOGETHER is so short… Let us therefore be filled with Gratitude and Sweetness.Sweetness is a virtue never likened to bad character nor cowardice, but better likened to greatness! Our journey together down here is really short and cannot be reversed… No one knows the duration of his/her journey!! As we wake up to see each daylight, millions of people: young, old, mid-age somehow get to their respective bus stops and must alight. We all pray to live long. And I pray for you reading this post; that you shall live Long and fulfill God’s purpose for you on earth But REMEMBER, the journey is so short. No one knows when they will get to their last bus stop where they will have to alight!! Meditate on this my brethren.
The journey is so short,
150 years all start with one day.We surely know how many years we have spent, but do you know how many more you have to spend?
99 years, months, weeks or days, hours, minutes or seconds. The journey is so short.*Therefore, cherish and hold on to Friends, Family and the People around you!
Be calm, be respectful, be kind, and be thankful. Love God; hold no offence!!! Be Forgiving!!! The journey is so short!!! No matter what anyone has done to hurt you, always remember that: “It is so insignificant.”
Be quick to forgive.
Hold no grudge; the journey is so short. Never forget that however long we pray to live; The journey down here is so so short!!! Everyone will account one day, therefore make each day count. May Almighty God Bless Us All,
~THINK FOR A WHILE~
“A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that 1,100 people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. Three minutes went by, and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing.
He slowed his pace, and Stopped for a few seconds, and then hurried up to meet his schedule.
A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping, and continued to walk.
A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work. The one who paid the most attention was a 3year old boy. His mother tagged him along, hurried, but the kid stopped to look at the violinist.
Finally, the mother pushed hard, and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. All the parents, without exception, forced them to move on.
In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed for a while. About 20 gave him money, but continued to walk their normal pace.
He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over, no onenoticed it.
No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.
No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the most talented musicians in the world. He had just played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, on a violin worth $3.5 million dollars.
Two days before his playing in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out at a theater in Boston where the seats averaged $100.
This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste, and priorities of people. The outlines were: in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour:
Do we perceive beauty?
Do we stop to appreciate it?
Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context?
One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be:
If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing?”

In an ancient temple, a number of pigeons lived happily on roof top.
When the renovation of the temple began for the annual temple feast the pigeons relocated themselves to a Church nearby.
The existing pigeons in the Church accommodated the new comers very well.
Christmas was nearing and the Church was given a facelift, All the pigeons had to move out and look for another place.
They were fortunate to find a place in a Mosque nearby, The incumbent pigeons in the Mosque welcomed them happily.
It was Ramadan time and the Mosque was repainted, All the pigeons now came to the same ancient temple.
One day the pigeons on top found some communal clashes below in a market square.
The baby pigeon asked the mother pigeon
“Who are these people ?
The mother replied; they are “Human beings”.
The baby asked,
But why are they fighting with each other…?
The mother said “These human beings going to temple are called ‘Hindus’ and the people going to Church are called ‘Christians’ and the people going to Mosque are called ‘Muslims’.
The Baby pigeon asked, “Why is it so? When we were in the Temple we were called Pigeons, when we were in the church we were called Pigeons and when we were in the Mosque, we were called Pigeons. Similarly they should be called just
‘Human beings’ wherever they go”?
The mother Pigeon said,
‘You and me and our Pigeon friends have experienced God and that’s why we are living here in a highly elevated place peacefully.
These people are yet to experience God.
Hence they are living below us and fighting and killing each other.
Black or White.
When I was in elementary school, I got into a major argument with a boy in my class. I have forgotten what the argument was about, but I have never forgotten the lesson I learned that day.
I was convinced that “I” was right and “he” was wrong – and he was just as convinced that “I” was wrong and “he” was right. The teacher decided to teach us a very important lesson.
She brought us up to the front of the class and placed him on one side of her desk and me on the other. In the middle of her desk was a large, round object. I could clearly see that it was black. She asked the boy what color the object was. “White,” he answered.
I couldn’t believe he said the object was white, when it was obviously black! Another argument started between my classmate and me, this time about the color of the object.
The teacher told me to go stand where the boy was standing and told him to come stand where I had been. We changed places, and now she asked me what the color of the object was. I had to answer, “White.”
It was an object with two differently colored sides, and from his viewpoint it was white. Only from my side it was black.
Sometimes we need to look at the problem from the other person’s view in order to truly understand his/her perspective.

angered by many of her mother-in-law’s habits.
In addition, she criticized Li-Li constantly.
Days passed days, and weeks passed weeks. Li-

worse was that, according to ancient Chinese
tradition, Li-Li had to bow to her mother-in-law

Finally, Li-Li could not stand her mother-in-law’s

Li-Li went to see her father’s good friend, Mr.

Li-Li said, “Yes, Mr. Huang, I will do whatever you

package of herbs.
He told Li-Li, “You can’t use a quick-acting

that would cause people to become suspicious.

towards her. Don’t argue with her, obey her every
wish, and treat her like a queen.”
Li-Li was so happy. She thanked Mr. Huang and
hurried home to start her plot of murdering her
Weeks went by, months went by, and every other
day, Li-Li served the specially treated food to her
mother-in-law. She remembered what Mr. Huang
had said about avoiding suspicion, so she
controlled her temper, obeyed her mother-in-law,
and treated her like her own mother. After six
months had passed, the whole household had
Li-Li had practiced controlling her temper so
much that she found that she almost never got
mad or upset. She hadn’t had an argument in six
months with her mother-in-law, who now seemed
much kinder and easier to get along with.
The mother-in-law’s attitude toward Li-Li
changed, and she began to love Li-Li like her own
daughter. She kept telling friends and relatives
that Li-Li was the best daughter-in-law one could
ever find. Li-Li and her mother-in-law were now
treating each other like a real mother and
Li-Li’s husband was very happy to see what was
One day, Li-Li came to see Mr. Huang and asked
for his help again. She said, “Mr. Huang, please
help me to stop the poison from killing my
mother-in-law! She’s changed into such a nice
woman, and I love her like my own mother. I do
not want her to die because of the poison I gave
Mr. Huang smiled and nodded his head. “Li-Li,
there’s nothing to worry about. I never gave you
any poison. The herbs I gave you were vitamins
to improve her health. The only poison was in
your mind and your attitude toward her, but that
has been all washed away by the love which you
gave to her.”

READ THIS TOUCHING STORY
I am a 24 years old lady who was in a bad relationship for 3yrs . When I met the guy I thought he was the one, his sweet words made me believe he loved me and of course I fell for that
I have done everything to please him, I
went all out to prove my love for him, I sacrificed my life for him, but he was too blind to see all that.
All he was doing best was to tell me how beautiful other girls are, how my hairstyles makes him sick, he complained about almost everything in my life I started to have low self esteem, feeling like am unworthy, feeling unattractive coz he told me that no guy will love me.
One day he made a mistake by calling
me desperate , he told me that am not the kind of girl he wants to get married to. That broke me to pieces, I was in varsity and about to write my exams. I couldn’t study and I was even thinking
death was the solution for me But I thank God cause He spoke sense in my life. I stood in front of the mirror and looked at a beautiful woman. I pulled myself together, studied for my exams
and I passed. I graduated last year and got a job in one of the biggest companies in South Africa. I met a
man who didn’t even want to wait
until he put a ring on my finger, am
engaged and am going to marry one of the best men in the world. I have achieved many things that maybe I couldn’t have achieved if I was still
with that loser . He called and asked to see me and I went to meet him, I went to meet him looking beautiful, driving my car and waving the ring on my finger, he couldn’t believe what he saw, I took him to the best restaurant and
paid all the bills, he cried and said sorry but it was too late. After that I felt like am on top of the world when my ex saw me swimming in success.
NOW I PRAY to someone reading this today everyone you worked so hard for and neglected you would come back to beg you when your glory shine!!!
IN JESUS NAME…..
